If you are not used to the Methodist Service, don’t worry. Its uncomplicated and easy to follow. You will soon feel at home.

Our minister, Rev. Lawrence Copley, leads Sunday Morning Service about once every two weeks. This includes prayer, hymn singing and teachings from the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the tradition of Methodist worship, other services are usually led by a minister from a neighbouring Methodist Church, or a local (lay) preacher.  In this way, services are always varied.

 

Holy Communion — the sharing of bread and wine — is celebrated about once every four weeks.

An invitation is extended to everyone.  All that is asked is the love of Jesus Christ.  There is no compulsion to join this part of the service if you prefer not to.  If you wish, come forward for a blessing, or just remain seated.
